June 29 – 30 Arizona's Celebration of Freedom (MESA) Enjoy this two-day celebration filled with classic cars, motorcycles, beer gardens, an art walk, music, street performers, games, family fun and more! Downtown Mesa, 6 – 10 pm, free, 480-644-2069.
July 1 FREE Concert (SCOTTSDALE) Bring a blanket or chair and enjoy the sounds of Shallow Water, an upbeat party band. Train rides are $2 and carousel rides are $1 and children under the age of three ride free with a paying adult on either ride. Food will also be available for purchase. July 3 “3rd of July” Fireworks Display (CAVE CREEK) Celebrate at Harold’s Corral with live entertainment by Young Country and EastonAshe, an outside BBQ (starts at 5:30pm), mobile game truck, face painting, shaved ice and more! July 3 Independence Day Music Festival (SCOTTSDALE) Featuring the music of Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker and the largest fireworks show in the valley! Salt River Fields, tickets $20+, 480-270-5000.
July 3 Independence Day Celebration (ANTHEM) Musical entertainment, a kids’ zone with water slides and inflatables, pony rides, face painting, fireworks display at 9:30 pm. Anthem Community Park Ball Fields, 6-10 pm.
July 4 Drop-in MIM Highlight Tours (PHOENIX) Celebrate the 4th of July with a “World of Musical Journeys” tour of MIM’s galleries. This tour provides an in-depth look at various exhibits, highlighting countries, musical cultures, and fascinating instruments in each of MIM’s major Geographical Galleries. July 4 Fourth at the Fountain (FOUNTAIN HILLS) Hot dog eating contest, bounce house, fun slide, rock climbing wall & dunk tank, Beer , food drink and merchandise. July 4 4th of July Party (SCOTTSDALE) Don't miss the annual 4th of July party at the OTT! We'll be serving up FREE hamburgers and hotdogs, throwing around beach balls, and dancing to great live music. It's the perfect day-time party before the big fire works show! July 4 Independence Day Celebration (LITCHFIELD PARK) Join us at the Litchfield Park Recreation Center for the annual "Splash Bash" from 10 – 5pm. Enjoy water games, a DJ, hot dogs, shaved ice, watermelon, and more! Admission $2 per person, 623-935-9040.

July 4 Tempe Town Lake Festival (TEMPE) Kiwanis Club of Tempe 60th Annual Fireworks Spectacular will present the best fireworks show in the Valley shot from Mill Avenue bridge. Enjoy concert event stage, live music, inflatable Kid's Ride village, vendors, water fun and games for the entire family. July 4 4th of July All American Festival (PEORIA) Enjoy great entertainment on multiple stages, Kid Zone, Water Zone, F-16 flyover, hot dog eating contest, plus plenty of family friendly activities. The spectacular fireworks display starts at 9:15 pm. No alcohol or glass containers allowed into the event. Beer and concessions will be available for purchase. July 4th 4th of July BBQ at Tanque Verde Ranch (TUCSON) This 4th of July, enjoy a traditional Western BBQ featuring a delicious pig roast and buffet at Tanque Verde Ranch in Tucson.
