Located in the heart of Carefree at 7212 Ho Hum Road inside the Spanish Village, the Carefree Station is a perfect destination for a great lunch, dinner, special event or a day of enjoying one of the most unique bars in Arizona.
Built in 1960, the Gardens occupy the central courtyard area of the Spanish Village. Shaded with Palo Verde trees, the plants and flowers are the result of the green thumb and talent of owner Linda Gabrick who is often seen during the mornings tending to the garden. The Garden area is set to seat about 80 guests but can accommodate 100+ guests for special parties and events. It is a great place for lunch, dinner and the perfect place for Carefree Station’s Sunday Brunch.
Climb the “Stairway to Heaven” and you’ll discover BevHeaven, the popular rooftop bar and unique dining area perfect for dinner and fun. During the summer, a retractable awning and misting system keeps diners comfortable. BevHeaven (Beverage Heaven) showcases the best spirits, wines and beers from around the world. Seating 75 guests, the space can accommodate more for special parties and is a perfect place for an intimate wedding, reception or event.
The Atrium is an enclosed patio space that also features Linda’s planting handiwork. Climate controlled during the colder months, it is often used for private events as well as regular dining guests. The main restaurant dining room, while open, still offers intimacy and coziness. During the colder months, 3 fireplaces add to the warmth and charm. A “Cheers” like bar, frequented by area locals, invites you in. Featuring big and bold flavors, “Carefree Cuisine” has been coined to describe diverse menus. Flavorful Mexican food compliments the main menu offerings. Although slanted toward a southwestern style of cooking, a noticeable Asian influence is present as well as some Cajun dishes. Steaks, ribs, seafood, lamb, duck, a large number of salads and several pasta dishes are also featured.

So my wife and I decide to stop by the Station for an after dinner drink, and it turns out my cognac and her wine are 50% off when we picked from their promotional list. They're doing that all summer. Just thought I would pass it along. Great recommendation.
Great restaurant! I had the lettuce wrapped shrimp tacos and my husband had the ribs. Everything was delicious. Great service too. I haven't found anything like this in Canada. Don't miss.

My husband and I were staying at the Carefree Resort and found our way over to this gem of a restaurant. The food was excellent and very fresh. Our waitress described their whole take on healthy and lite mexican food, and it was great. Highly recommend the patio.
Carefree is a small town but well worth the visit if you are traveling to Scottsdale or Phoenix. Carefree Station has the most incredible bar I have ever seen. So plan to have a drink in Carefree!
