TALIESIN WEST “NIGHT LIGHTS” TOURS NOW OFFERED FRIDAY, SATURDAY and MONDAY EVENINGS
Just in time for summer, the spectacular two-hour guided early evening tour, “Night Lights on the Desert” at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Taliesin West in Scottsdale is now being offered three evenings:
FRIDAYS, SATURDAYS, AND MONDAYS at 6:30 pm, 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm.
This romantic, leisurely stroll through Wright’s architectural masterpiece takes visitors into imaginative interior spaces that are linked by terraces, gardens, and walkways overlooking the Valley below. Often times, visitors are treated to dramatic sunsets in the western sky viewed from what Wright called the Sunset Terrace.
The buildings, lighted from within, appear as sculptures, and the fire-breathing dragon is lit. Indoors, visitors sit in Wright-designed furniture. Guides explain the history of the site and provide insight into Wright’s life and work.
The tour includes light refreshments and reservations are requested, but not required. (480) 860-2700 ext. 494 or 495.
Summer day tours, from 1 to 3 hours long, include an “Architecture Discovery” tour for families with school-age children.
When it comes to Scottsdale Attractions, Taliesin west is a must see destination!
