Call us wild. Call of crazy. Just don’t call us a zoo. Here, exotic animals from all over the world roam in spacious habitats, so you can see their natural behavior up-close. And, with exciting shows like Tiger Splash, Wonders of Wildlife, and the Predator Feed, Out of Africa is like nothing you’ve ever seen. One price covers all regularly-scheduled shows and tours.

What makes Out of Africa so special is the carefully-nurtured human/animal relationship developed from the animal’s point of view. All shows and habitats were designed to stimulate natural behavior. In the simplest terms, the animals can be themselves. This respectful approach provides a unique experience that allows visitors to discover how instincts, intellect and feeling combine to form this spontaneous behavior.

At the Tiger Splash show, the staff interacts with the majestic tigers as they “hunt” colorful toys in a predatory/prey relationship and take breathtaking leaps into their aquatic playpen. It’s amazing how fast and agile these powerful cats are on land, but even more so when you see how high they leap and how well they swim while tracking down their toy-prey. Visitors to the Giant Snake show can pet or hold a giant anaconda and a huge python. Grizzly bears and laughing hyenas thrill audiences during the Wonders of Wildlife show. Some of the best photos come during the Predator Feed, when up to 800 pounds of raw food is fed to hungry carnivores.

Hitch a ride on the African Bush Safari, where park experts narrate as they drive visitors through the spacious Serengeti preserve of giraffe, zebra, antelope, and so many more species indigenous to the African continent. Get your cameras ready, because this is as close and personal as it gets. Giraffe are more than eager to grab a treat from your hand or even your mouth for the brave of heart. And speaking of cameras, you’ll notice many photo platforms located all throughout the park habitats. These unobstructed platforms allow you to photograph your favorite animals without a screen in the picture.

There are more ways to get up close and personal, when you consider the Creature Feature show, the Pet-n-Feed, and so on. For an additional fee, you can even Feed-a-Tiger, tour the Serengeti in an Authentic Unimog vehicle, or take an exclusive, three-hour, behind the scenes, in-depth tour known as the *VIP (*Reservations Required).

Ride the shuttle trams throughout the park, or enjoy the walks and views covering 104 acres of replicated African Bush country. Just 90 minutes north of Phoenix and 30 minutes south of Sedona, Out of Africa will touch you for years to come. No tricks, no training…just a full day’s adventure.
