Prescott, Arizona is home to some of the most amazing natural beauty to be found in Arizona and is a hub of Arizona history, tradition, art and culture. Popular for its cooler temperatures, sunny skies and wealth of outdoor activities, Prescott is surrounded by breathtaking landscape and one of the nation's largest ponderosa pine forests. Five area lakes provide loads of kayaking, canoeing and fishing opportunities. More than 450 miles of recreational trails wind through the Prescott National Forest.

Prescott Arizona Golf
For the golf enthusiast, Prescott and the surrounding area offer six golf courses that will challenge players against a backdrop of stunning scenery.

Prescott Arizona Historic District
With over 600 buildings on the National Register of Historic Buildings, Prescott is Arizona's best-preserved town. The Sharlot Hall, Smoki and Phippen museums trace the history of the area from the perspectives of the settlers, Native Americans and, of course, through the art of the West. Prescott's Courthouse Plaza is the pivot around which the town was designed and built. Today quaint boutiques, fantastic restaurants and an eclectic array of galleries featuring local, regional and national artists surround this famous landmark. The historic haunts (some rumored to be haunted) of the famous, not-so famous and the infamous line Whiskey Row on the west side of Courthouse Square. The Palace Saloon, also on the National Register of Historic Places, serves libations on the same bar that served Doc Holiday and Wyatt Earp.

Prescott Arizona Arts and Culture
Performing and visual arts play a large part in the fiber of this high desert community. The Prescott Fine Arts Association, the Yavapai College Performance Hall, the Blue Rose Theatre and several other like-minded organizations provide artistic sustenance to this entertainment savvy locale.
