Expect to see a wide variety of wildlife and spectacular scenery while observing from the deck during one of the Dolly Steamboat tours. Every trip always brings new revelations of rock formations, geological history, flora and fauna with the beautiful saguaro Cacti, nature at its best! During your cruise you will be entertained by a local Yavapai Princess, a prehistoric mastodon, bald eagles and of course the majestic Desert Bighorn Sheep. Every trip is unique depending on the time of year or the time of day.

Dolly Steamboat offers 1 1/2 hour Daily nature cruises and 2 1/2 hour twilight Dinner Cruises. In addition they offer specialty cruises such as astronomy, Christmas parade of lights, and caroling cruises. You can charter the Dolly Steamboat for parties, weddings, family reunions, business meetings, or any special occasion. In addition to the Dolly, the Apache Trail and surrounding area has the most attractions in any one given area within the state of Arizona.

Just a short drive along the historic and scenic Hwy 88 will bring you into the heart of the superstition wilderness and spectacular Canyon Lake.

Reservations are recommended for Dolly Steamboat, please call 480-827-9144. A snack bar is available on board with water, soda’s, snacks and alcohol and is a cash bar.


Highway 60 to Apache Junction, turn North on Idaho Rd. to “The Apache Trail” Highway 88, travel 16 miles NE on the paved Apache Trail; just past the second one lane bridge, turn left into the Canyon Lake Marina and Campground parking lot.
