Since 2012, Arizonans and visitors from across the valley have gathered under the desert stars to countdown to midnight with a fun-filled, flannel-fraught block party in downtown’s vibrant Roosevelt Row Arts District.

New Year’s Eve Flannel Ball: Beer. Art. Music. Food. Games.

This year, Flannel Ball keeps alive the local artist tradition of adaptive reuse. Strings of lights illuminate an art-activated street nestled among historic houses, new structures, public art spaces, creative studios, bars and boutiques.

Chain link fences transform into art gallery walls. Backyards are reimagined as live music venues. Dirt lots are reinvented as community gardens complete with urban chicken coops. Games include Super Beer Pong, Jumbo Jenga, and Cornhole.

Celebrate the mild winter weather clad in plaid!
